Film Review Mario Toribio
''The Nightmare Before Christmas'' is an animation film (stop-motion) directed by Tim Burton. It was made in 1993 and it's based on a poem, also made by Tim Burton.
The main
character is the king of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington. Jack finds a strange portal that leads to
Christmas Town. When he comes back to Halloween Town, he wants to take the
Christmas celebration to his own town.
The things
that I like the most are the songs that all the characters sing along the film (which are very original) and the type of animation (stop-motion).The plot is
really catchy and I love the comic scenes.
However, some
characters can be a little scary for some people, but not for me. Another
negative thing could be the short duration of the film, which lasts 76 minutes.
I’ll never
get tired of this film and I think everyone should give it a try. Its songs are beautiful and the animation is very original.
