Some people is being bilingual, but also there are some people than in their country they only spoke one language. We have advantages and disadvantages to being a person bilingual.
On the one hand, being bilingual is a good thing because you can speak more than one language and have more ways to defend all the languages. For example, if you go to another country to find a job you won't have difficulties to have one because if you speak more than one language always is more easy to find it.
On the other hand, the first thing that we consider the most important bad thing to being bilingual is that if you now two languages you can have confusions in some expressions or doing mistakes when you are talking or writing.
Personally, I think being bilingual is a good thing, because speaking more than one language opens you're mind to learn new languages and have less difficulties when you speak in other countries.
